We are looking for a Data Assistant to be a star in our commercial department. The main purpose of this role is to gather, repair and sort data within a given set of parameters. The successful candidate will be working within a small team in order to achieve this. The types of data in question will be a mixture of customer and product data. The successful candidate will be making a significant contribution to the success of future projects for the business.
IMPORTANT – As part of our recruitment & selection policy candidates are required to bring ONE of the following documents to interview:
EU or UK Passport or Birth Certificate or and of the following: Certificate of Registration, a Biometric Residence Permit, and/or immigration documents issued by the Home Office
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Excel work – Data manipulation, cleansing & enrichment to ensure data quality
- Manipulating data into provided structures
- Implementing naming conventions into data (for which the conventions will be provided)
- Working with suppliers to capture relevant product data
To be successful, you will have the following experience and personal attributes:
- Capable level of Excel competence
- Competent in accurately working with data
- A logical and pragmatic thought process
- Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong organisational skills

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week between 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £23,000 per annum (6-month fixed term contract)
